Ofloxacin is an antibiotic and acts by killing bacteria that cause the infection.

Ornidazole acts against both bacteria and protozoas. It works by causing cell death thereby inhibiting the growth of bacteria thus relieving the symptoms associated with infections. Terbinafine is an anti-fungal agent. It stops the growth of fungi by inhibiting ergosterol, an important enzyme that is essential for fungal growth.

Clobetasol is a corticosteroid. It works by reducing the action of certain chemicals in the body that cause inflammation.

Panderm + cream is used to treat inflammation, redness and itching caused by a number of skin conditions such as eczema, allergic reactions, dermatitis, rashes and psoriasis. It is also used to treat several autoimmune diseases including vitiligo, alopecia areata, lichen planus, lichen sclerosus.

Panderm + is a brand from Macleods pharmaceutical. Macleods features amongst the Top 10 companies in India and is recognized as one of the fastest growing companies. Skin infections

Bacterial skin infections often begin as small, red bumps that slowly increase in size. Some bacterial infections are mild and easily treated with topical antibiotics, but other infections require an oral antibiotic.

Fungal skin infections are caused by a fungus and are most likely to develop in damp areas of the body, such as the feet or armpit. Some fungal infections aren’t contagious, and these infections are typically non-life-threatening.

Different types of fungal infections:

  • Athlete’s foot
  • Yeast infection
  • Ringworm
  • Nail fungus

Mechanism of Action

Terbinafine is an allylamine derivative that has a wide spectrum of antifungal activity against pathogens of the skin, hair, and nails. It acts by inhibiting squalene epoxidase, the main enzyme responsible for fungal sterol synthesis. Thus, resulting to ergosterol deficiency, leading to membrane disruption and cell death. It is active against dermatophytes, moulds, and certain dimorphic fungi.

Using four active ingredients, Panderm Cream can address bacterial infections in a number of ways and act holistically to remove harmful bacteria from the body.

It works to prevent the production of an essential component of the bacterial cell wall, and it also inhibits growth of cell membrane of yeast, thus preventing growth of bacteria and letting them die off. Panderm Cream also reduces the production of chemicals in the body that cause allergies thus treating allergies at the root.
